
It makes for lotsa good food, but it's more than that. We spent a lot of time together-me blanching and peeling and her cutting the tomatoes and putting them in the jars that she had boiled. We took breaks while some were boiling for an hour and half and others were cooking in the pressure canner. It's one of those things that brings you a little closer together. You sometimes need those moments when you've been married for more than 30 years.
