Saw Richard Thompson at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center the day after St. Pat's Day. Nice hall to see a casual concert, but dine before you get there. There's nothing in the area except fast food and the Theater Square Grill in the center, which is way too formal. It was full of white hairs for the symphony concert next door.
We've got tickets to see Further and John Hammond Jr. at Bethel Woods. Further is playing in the Pavilion and Hammond is playing in the Event Gallery. The Event Gallery holds less than 500 people and I managed to get some front row seats. Also got some good tickets for Further, but they'll sell out. With lawn seating, there will probably be 15,000 there (small by stadium standards).
I also have tickets to see Jorma Kaukonen at the Fur Peace Ranchin Meigs County, Ohio on August 27. Got some old friends who are going to be there. Should be fun. The place seats 200.
