We first drove by this place a couple of years ago and, though it's a fine looking place from the outside, I thought "What a strange name for a pub?" We stayed in Reading on Friday and decided to have dinner there. The food was great and the service superb. There's a lot of fresh seafood (and oysters, of course) on the menu, but beef and pork as well. Katie had a pork chop special and really enjoyed it. I had the oyster platter and it was quite good. The ambiance and service, as well as the food, are well worth the visit.
