This postcard is pre-1908 (the back side is exclusively for the address). The depot was destroyed when a train derailed and crashed into it. Of the other 3 buildings in the photo, the one on the left now houses the post office and the Honesdale National Bank; the center one is gone; and, the one on the right is the Lackawaxen Inn (a restaurant, pub, hotel). The hill in the background is the Dark Side (NY).
